SNOW DAY TRAINING
Don’t let a snow day hold you back. Here are a few tips to get you in the game.
1. Work on your swing – muscle memory is key to a good swing. So start swinging and make sure you have a lot of room. Work on your mechanics. (Launch Laser is great for this!) Also it’s a great time to video your swing to see what you are doing right and wrong.
2. Fielding drills – bounce a tennis ball off a solid wall (no picture frames) and catch it. Really work on your hand eye coordination by throwing the ball at different angles.
3. Conditioning – there are lots of exercises you can do inside – jump rope, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, side crunches, step ups, one-legged jumps, squats, push-ups, running in place. Get creative. Stay active!
